WATCH THE 2019 INDONESIAN 1.0 GRAND PRIX IN UNDER SIX MINUTES

Perhaps you could make a case for Indonesia getting one MXGP Grand Prix, but two in a row just looks like a giant money grab for Indonesia government money by Youthstream. But, it’s up to the factory teams, the FIM management and the riders themselves to say that they’d prefer to be racing in front of motocross fans who have actually heard of them. However, since none of the riders have ever fought to get their travel money, start money and purse money back from Youthstream—they are probably going to stay silent about this oddball two-race journey to a country who’s motocross profile doesn’t make a blip on the world scene.

The rider turnout in indonesia was half of the number riders who are on the gate for an AMA National or European continent GP.  When only 20 riders show up per class, it makes MXGP looks weak as far as a showcase  for how great the sport is.
