WATCH THE GRAND PRIX OF SARDINIA IN UNDER 10 MINUTES

After a long lay-off with injuries Jeffrey Herlings is back in action in the FIM World Motocross Championships and notched his first win of the 2023 season at the Sardinian Grand Prix. It was his 100th GP victory. Of course, every win by Jeffrey is a record for him, but his target is 10-time World Champion Stefan Everts all-time record of 101 Grand Prix wins. Barring injury, that long standing record could in broken in a few more races. For all of his greatness, Herlings has only won four World Motocross titles (three 250 and one 450), which is no small defeat, but without all of the lost seasons due to injuries, Herlings might have gotten closer to Tony Cairoli’s 9 World Championships and Stefan Everts’ 10 titles.
