WATCH THE GRAND PRIX OF SWITZERLAND IN UNDER 10 MINUTES

American Jack Chambers got a last minute call to join the Dixon Kawasaki team for the 250 World Championships. Jack finished 14-12 for 13th overall in his first ever Grand Prix and first race on a Kawasaki KX250. He is the only American racing the GPs in 2023. Jack Chambers said: “The riding style and the tracks over here in Europe are different to the US and I haven’t ridden outdoors since last June, so the first thing is to have fun, gain experience and learn from the GP regulars. I’m thankful for this opportunity. I only flew in on Monday, but I had two days on the bike before we got here and already feel at home on the KX250.”

Equally surprising was the 6-4 day for Jeffrey Herlings. He held on to second in the 450 Points standings, but in Switzerland  more GP competitors passed him in the first moto than at any time in his career. Jeffrey said, “I felt a bit tight today and although I had a good start in the first moto I had some arm-pump and went backwards. It was a shame.”
