WHIP IT WEDNESDAY: ELI TOMAC
It is no secret that Eli’s strong suit is the outdoor Nationals. He dominated the field last year up until a freak crash while leading the race at the Colorado National. This year he show his outdoor prowess by winning in Daytona, which is the only Supercross that rewards outdoor talent. Since Ryan Villopoto left Kawasaki in 2014, they has been searching for a rider who could fill his boots. Tomac, with a 250 West Supercross championship under his belt and all his momentum for last year’s abbreviated National, seemed like he could very well be their man. This season, Tomac currently sits fourth in 450 Supercross points. With his teammate Wil Hahn possibly out for the rest of the season, Tomac has been Kawasaki’s sole rider at many races. Although, Josh Grant is now filling in for injured Wil Hahn.
