THIS WEEK IN MXA: WILL JEFFERY HERLINGS RACE THE AMA NATIONALS INSTEAD OF MXGP?

Should Jeffery Herlings race the 2022 MXGP series or should he race the AMA Pro Motocross series here in America? Just 20 days before the start of the 2022 MXGP World Championship the defending Champion broke his foot in a crash he sustained during a photoshoot with the Red Bull KTM team. Since the beginning there’s been rumors of Jeffery switching his plans and coming to the US to race. As long as his foot heals up in time, it seems very likely to happen now. Even the Red Bull KTM team manager for MXGP, Dirk Gruebel, talked about this happening in a recent interview with MX Vice.

In episode 67 of our This Week in MXA series presented by O’Neal, Assistant Editor Josh Mosiman talks on this subject, shares some info about Griffin Dexter’s KTM that broke in half at Glen Helen on Saturday, interviews Randy Richardson about Michelin’s new StarCross 6 tires and more.
