LAKE WORTH, FL. (July 10, 2007) WMR Competition Performance, Lake Worth, Florida has joined with Motorsport Fox Kawasaki Jupiter, Florida and the Moto Club Costa Rica to provide Team Costa Rica with full race bikes and team support for this years Motocross de Nations to be held September 22nd and 23rd in Budds Creek, Maryland.

The decision to build a race team for Costa Rica with WMR Competition Performance and Motorsport Fox was an easy one to come to. WMR has years of experience working with top riders from Latin America, such as Martin DaValos from Ecuador and Oscar Diaz from Costa Rica. In January talks began between Bob Brewster of WMR and Chuck Akin and German Naranjo of the Moto Club Costa Rica (MCCR). Plans quickly came together as it became clear that the team would be a perfect fit for everyone involved. Costa Rica has a great motocross program with some very fast riders and was looking for a race shop in the states to build race bikes and provide support for the Motocross De Nations. WMR has been building race bikes for top amateur racers for many years and was looking for an opportunity to begin focusing more on the professional ranks. Motorsport Fox Kawasaki as Florida’s newest Kawasaki dealership was looking for an opportunity to build their motocross support program. Everything came together early this month and work has already begun to get ready for test sessions in August and the race in September.

Motorsport Fox Kawasaki is Florida’s newest Kawasaki dealership located in Jupiter, Florida. They will be providing new Kawasaki KX250F’s and KX450F’s for the team. Owner Craig Fox and his son Rob will be helping with team logistics and as rider mechanics. Craig’s brother, Lyndon will be handling the team’s photography duties. Lyndon has been an action sports photographer for many years, his work can be seen in many motocross publications and most recently on Speed Channels The Motocross Files. Craig Fox has been an avid motocross competitor and fan since the 1970’s. Everyone at MotorSport Fox Kawasaki is excited to be supporting Team Costa Rica at the Motocross de Nations. It is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity to be involved with Costa Rica and this event especially since it is being held in the United States this year. Craig Fox pres. MotorSport Fox Kawasaki.
