DEC 18–WANT A MOTOCROSS TRACK IN YOUR YARD?

In the nice quiet community of Parker, Texas Tina Drucker and her family decided to build the ultimate motocross fantasy, a track in their own yard.

Unfortunately her neighbors don’t agree. They’re citing the noise and dust as nuisances and are complaining that it’s causing their property values to drop.

Just how serious have things got? The police purchased a decibel tester just to measure the noise coming from the Druckers. If the noise is above 85 decibels the police can give the Druckers a citation, but so far none of the vechicles (bikes and quads) on the property have been any louder than 75 decibels.

And so the saga continues with emergency city council meetings and questions about building permits and zoning regulations.
