MXA PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT: 2024 KAWASAKI KLX OFF-ROAD & KLX PLAY BIKES

Kawasaki has a full line-up of 2024 four-stroke off-road bikes that are designed to give the whole family the fun experience of riding in the back yard, grandma’s farm or on USFS trails. The machines start with the KLX110 and work theres way up to the trail-ready KLX300.

2024 KAWASKAI KLX 110R—$2849

Kawasaki’s KLX110R/R L offers two ways for riders to get started in off-road riding: the base KLX110R model with a low seat height and automatic clutch, and the KLX110R L with longer suspension travel, nearly two-inch taller seat height and manual clutch.

KLX110 FEATURES
(1)112cc Single Cylinder, SOHC Engine with electric start.
(2) U.S. Forest Service-approved spark arrester allows access to designated public riding areas.
(3) Throttle Limiting Screw on the throttle housing, allows parents to control throttle opening to reduce speeds.
(4) Four-speed transmission has gear ratios chosen to enhance engine power
(5) Available with an automatic on the KLX110R or a Manual clutch on the KLX110R-L
(6) 30mm front forks match the firm rear end. The upper triple clamp is made of aluminum to reduce weight.

2024 KAWASAKI KLX140R — $3649

Kawasaki offers a complete family of KLX140R models to get the whole family involved in off-road motorcycling. The KLX140R is designed more for the youngsters with the smallest wheels and lowest seat height; the KLX140R L has larger wheels, taller seat height and more performance-oriented suspension; and the KLX140R F utilizes full-sized wheels and frame so that taller riders can comfortably join the fun out on the trails.

KLX230 FEATURES
(1) A keyless start button located on the handlebars makes starting quick and easy.
(2) U.S. Forest Service-approved spark arrester allows access to designated public riding areas.
(3) Close-ratio five-speed transmission enhances the engine’s acceleration capabilities.
(4) Progressive Manual Clutch has a spring damper to provide two-stage clutch engagement that facilitates partial clutch use when riding at extremely speeds.
(5) 33mm front forks have spring rates and damping settings for trail riding.
(6)The rear shock features a piggyback reservoir, threaded preload, four-way compression and 22-way rebound damping.
(7) The KLX140R features disc brakes front and rear for greater brake performance.

2024 KAWASAKI KLX 230R —$5049

The Kawasaki KLX230R is a full-size recreational trail bike for off-road adventures; with trail-focused engine and frame design, and long travel suspension with ample ground clearance for enhanced off-road capability. The KLX230R helps ensure that there is an affordable, capable and durable motorcycle in the KLX lineup for every rider in the family to get out and enjoy the trails with ease.

KLX230 FEATURES

(2) The six-speed transmission features short final gearing to make navigating tight trails easier

KLX300R FEATURES
(1) The fuel-injected, liquid cooled features double-overhead-cams and electric start
(2) The 43mm Inverted cartridge fork utilize a softer spring rate to allow damping to work over a wider stroke range for better front-end feeling.
(3) Dual high-capacity radiators similar to those used on Kawasaki KX motocross machines provide excellent cooling efficiency.
(4) A twin piston front caliper grasps a 270mm front disc, while a single piston rear caliper works with 240mm disc to give strong, reliable performance.
