INJURED LIST:

CHASE SEXTON – SHOULDER

Chase Sexton will sit out the final two rounds of pro motocross following his crash at the Ironman National.
In a statement by Chase he said: “Good day going at Ironman until it wasn’t, going 1-DNF on the day brake malfunction second moto was out of mine and Jade Dungey’s control and for me I was just a passenger at that point and I tried all I could do to save it. With that being said I’m still encouraged by my riding and am happy with how it was going up until that point. As far as my body goes my right shoulder is weak from the crash and am getting it looked at this week. With that being said it’s in my best interest to get ready for SMX and come in at 100%. Just want to say thank you to the fans for always having my back and I can’t wait to see y’all in Charlotte.”

JALEK SWOLL – LEG

Jalek Swoll 2025 RedBud NationalJalek Swoll injured his calf at the Ironman National. He had returned from an Achilles injury, and the calf being in the same location was best for him to take some time off and recover.
A statement from Triumph: “After sustaining a calf injury at Ironman, along with a thumb injury from Southwick, the 25-year-old will miss the remainder of the series to focus on being fully healthy for 2026.”

AARON PLESSINGER – ILLNESS

Aaron Plessinger Spring Creek National-1Plessinger will be sidelined for the rest of the motocross season in order to seek further medical advice while prioritizing his health and fitness, before returning to racing.

Ian Harrison, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team Manager, said: “The whole Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team is fully behind Aaron Plessinger, everyone’s favorite Cowboy. Our priority right now is making sure he receives the best medical advice and care possible. Aaron came into RedBud not at 100 percent, but he gave it his all and continued to push through to line up at Millville. Unfortunately, he felt the effects of his illness early on and, despite fighting hard in the first moto, was completely depleted and unable to recover for the second. By sitting out Washougal and heading into the break, it gives him a few weeks to focus on figuring out exactly what’s going on with his health. Most importantly, it allows him time to gain peace of mind and make the best decision on when he’s ready to return to racing.”

JASON ANDERSON – UNKNOWN

Jason Anderson 2025 Red Bud National-Kawasaki announced that Jason Anderson will sit out the remainder of the SMX season due to “health issues.”

CASEY COCHRAN – SHOULDER

Casey had a crash during qualifying for the Southwick National, which resulted in a dislocated shoulder that will require surgery. He will be missing the remainder of the outdoor motocross season.

Sean Murphy, Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing Team Manager: “It’s a tough break for Casey, especially after the adversity he’s already battled with the injury he sustained prior to Supercross. He’s shown incredible determination, and we were looking forward to getting a full outdoor season under his belt, but Casey is an extremely determined rider, and we’re confident he will put in the work to get back on the bike as soon as he can.”

CHANCE HYMAS – KNEE

Chance Hymas was having a great season thus far, where he won the Thunder Valley National and was up front at High Point. Unfortunately, in the closing laps of the second moto at High Point, he ended up catching his knee in a rut and tearing his ACL. He has decided to sit out the first few rounds to make sure his leg was healed properly to be able to give his best effort for the rest of the season. It is not clear of his exact return to racing.

TALON HAWKINS – FEMUR/RETIREMENT

Talon Hawkins had a scary crash at the San Diego Supercross when he attempted to seat bounce into one of the larger rhythm sections, sending him off the back of the bike and on the ground hard.
