250 RACE RESULTS // 2024 HANGTOWN MOTOCROSS NATIONAL

Racing is underway from the Hangtown National. Haiden Deegan leads in points coming off a 1-1 last weekend and is looking to maintain that lead through the weekend but it will not come easy. Levi Kitchen follows in second and wants to get his first career motocross overall. Returning Joey Savatgy rode well last weekend and was quick in qualifying proving he has the potential to grab a win. Another rider to watch is Chance Hymas as he had great speed at Fox Raceway and has been putting in the work during the week to maintain a good pace. We will see how it all unfolds today.

250 OVERALL RACE RESULTS

Haiden Deegan feeling the pressure made a mistake and went down hard. He would remount in second and still collect the overall.

Haiden Deegan was able to get out front early in Moto two. Ty Masterpool put the pressure on Deegan early but as the race continued, Deegan started to gain a little bit of a lead. Kitchen then moved past Masterpool into second and tried to maintain the gap to the leader. Behind them Tom Vialle was moving forward and feeling confident, he would eventually make his way into third pushing Masterpool back to fourth. The fastest times of the moto were coming from Deegan and Vialle who were under the two-minute lap time. Vialle would eventually catch Kitchen and make the pass into second, he would then start gaining on Deegan in the lead. Towards five minutes remaining Haiden Deegan got a kick heading towards the mechanics area and had a pretty hectic crash. He would remount but hand the lead over to Tom Vialle. Tom Vialle would go on to take the win in moto two.

Tom Vialle would inherit the lead after Haiden Deegan went down.

We got a taste of Ty Masterpool in the second moto who started up front and put in a good first few laps.

250 RACE RESULTS MOTO 1

Haiden Deegan started around the eighth position and made his way through the pack.

Chance Hymas grabbed the holeshot and early lead followed by Kitchen and Beaumer. Haiden Deegan started near the eighth spot and started making moves forward through the pack. Within a few laps, Deegan was up to third but the leaders of Hymas and Kitchen began to pull a bit of a lead. As they passed the halfway point of the race. Kitchen began catching Hymas in the lead with Deegan chipping away at both riders. Tom Vialle ran fourth for majority of the moto just trying to keep in touch with the leaders. As the laps clicked away, Deegan started to catch the leaders and was looking to make a push for the lead positions, In the final laps Deegan was able to make the pass on both Kitchen and Hymas, taking the win in moto one at Hangtown.
