WATCH HAWAIIAN STAR BRIAN MEDEIROS WIN THE 450 PRO CLASS AT “SATURDAY AT THE GLEN”

Hawaiian racer Brian Medeiros (79) didn’t spin a lap on MXA’s 2025 Honda CRF450 until MXA asked him to race it just before the first 450 Pro moto gate drop at Glen Helen on Ssaturday. He agreed and went to the starting line on a bike that he’d never ridden before, with settings that Dennis Stapleton had put in the bike at Pala Raceway on Friday when MXA broke-in the brand new 2025 CRF450.

Brian, who had ridden practice on his Husqvarna FC250, adjusted quickly to the big red machine. The Pro riders at Glen Helen on Saturday were Daiki Ogasawara (20), Dominic Desimone (190), Ciaran Naran, Ezra Lewis (25) Gage Guerin (273), Noah Viney (943), Ryota Asai (7), Carter Dubach (15), Dennis Stapleton (39), Jake Alvarez (192), Tristun Alvarez (114), Travis Damon (22) and Cody Brownfield (36).

The Kauai native shocked everyone, by adapting to the CRF450 in a couple of laps, and passed his way to the front by the end of the first moto. In the second moto he only had to make two passes to get to the front and ended the day with a 1-1 score.
