450 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 SPRING CREEK NATIONAL

We are now on the eighth round of the Pro Motocross Series at Spring Creek in Millville Minnesota. Chase Sexton was able to take over the points lead at Red Bud and is looking to continue that momentum into this weekend. Hunter Lawrence who has been fast week in and week out made a few mistakes at Red Bud which allowed Sexton to capitalize and take over the red plate. The two riders have been battling for position all season and with Jett Lawrence out due to injury, the championship is up for grabs. It all starts in qualifying read down below for updated qualifying results.

Jason Anderson grabbed the top qualifying position.

For the second session of 450 qualifying, the track is drastically rougher. As they have added quite a bit of sand to the track this weekend, it is very deep and the moisture from the morning is bringing out the ruts and large breaking bumps. However, it seems the track has a very hard base, which as the day goes on will become more dry and slippery. Jason Anderson was able to better his time in the second session and was the first rider on top of the list. Jason Anderson was putting in another fast lap when he came up on one of the blind drop-off sections, he hit a down rider sending him over the bars. Anderson did remount but had issues with the bike and was unable to finish the session. He still would maintain the top position heading into Moto One.

450 QUALIFYING SESSION 1 GROUP A

Hunter Lawrence wasted no time grabbing a fast lap.

Hunter Lawrence was the first rider to set a quick time around the Spring Creek track. Some of the other contenders including Chase Sexton took their time to get to know the track as they did not grab a quick time until late in the qualifying session. Throughout Hunter Lawrence kept bettering his time becoming faster with each lap. However, within the final laps, both Chase Sexton and Jason Anderson were able to grab a faster time, sending them one and two on the pole.
