No matter how well you balance a motocross wheel, the tire, dirt and mud will make it wobble at speed.
Dear MXperts,
I notice that road racers, dirt trackers and SuperMoto racers all have their wheels balanced. You can tell by the clip-on lead weights attached to their rims. Why don’t motocross bikes have their wheels balanced?

The benefits of balancing a motocross wheel would be lost as soon as dirt stuck to the knobs, rims or spokes.
