BUDDS CREEK NATIONAL VIDEO RECAP: AN EVENTFULL, BUT ANTI-CLIMATIC END TO THE 2025 SEASON

In the 450 class, Jett Lawrence’s 1-2 secured him his 9th overall win of the 11-race series (it was Jett’s 24th 450 National victory). Hunter Lawrence backed up Jett’s 1-2 with a 3-1 of his own for second overall. The two brothers finished One-Two in the 2025 AMA 450 National Championship standings with Eli Tomac a distant third (114 point behind Jett). Even though Jorge Prado failed to transfer out of timed qualifying, he didn’t have to race the Last Chance because of an AMA rule that seeds any rider who fails to make the qualifying cut, but is in the top ten in AMA points directly into National line-up. Prado would go on from there to go 11-12 for tenth in the Budd’s Creek 450 class (and be sixth overall in 450 season points).

In the 250 class Star Yamaha’s Haiden Deegan captured the “Gary Jones Cup” for the second consecutive season as the 250 National Champion—however, Deegan and Shimoda were both penalized one position and 5 Championship points for violating the Red Cross “no jumping flag” in moto one—which moved Cole Davis to the first moto victory. These events had no impact on the 250 National Championship as Deegan had a 48-point margin over Shimoda at the end of the 11th and final round
