15 CHANGES TO THE 2025 HONDA CRF250 AND CRF450

(1) The 2025 frame is constructed from 70-percent new components to optimize handling.

(2) New subframe mounting points increase lateral rigidity.

(3) The rigidity of the steering stem, triple clamps, outer fork tubes and front axle have all been revised to match the frame updates.

(4) The fork features new springs, shims and seals to minimize harsh feedback.

(5) A new shock spring, reservoir, shock shaft and oil seal deliver a more consistent stroke.

(6) The shock linkage is now a one-piece structure that enhances rigidity and stability. It also features a new rising-rate ratio to decrease pitching while improving bottoming resistance.

(8) No more upside-down air filter. The redesigned airbox provides a straighter path for improved throttle control.

(9) Increased crank rigidity enhances midrange torque.

(10) The new muffler and head pipe are straighter to improve acceleration.

(11) Updated ECU maps offer smoother power delivery throughout the rpm range.

(12) All-new bodywork features flatter surfaces to offer larger contact points.

(13) Shock-removal time has been cut in half because there is no need to remove the subframe to access the shock

(14) The 2025 CRF250RX and CRF450RX off-road models get all the same chassis, engine, and suspension updates as their motocross brothers.

(15) For 2025 there will be Works Edition versions of the CRF250 and CRF450.
