SWITCH UP: LEVI KITCHEN OUT FOR 2025 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS
LEVI KITCHEN OUT FOR 2025 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS
Breaking news coming from the 2025 Anaheim 1 Supercross today, Levi is currently dealing with a “debilitating virus” and he decided to skip qualifying today at Anaheim. Levi was originally slated to race 250SX West with teammate Garrett Marchbanks, but he came down with a sickness on Tuesday. He skipped press day interviews and press day practice to save energy for Saturday, then he lined up and completed free practice this morning, but he did not show up to the line for the first qualifying session.
Because he skipped the qualifying sessions, he is still eligible for racing the 250SX East division, starting in February and the Pro Circuit Kawasaki team has confirmed that is what he’ll do.
2025 ANAHEIM 1 SUPERCROSS // FULL COVERAGE
It’s rare to see a rider do free practice and then back out of the series at A1, but it’s happened before. Usually it happens when the rider is injured on press day or during the morning free practice.
Mitch Payton: “Tuesday he started feeling bad, like he was getting the flu. We thought he was doing better, but he’s actually gotten worse. We’re gonna tell him to get out of here and go to the hospital to get bloodwork done. He’s not going to get over the sickness he’s got in a day, so we plan to put him on the East Coast now.”
Make sure to update your MXA Fantasy picks if you already had Levi in your picks!
The Pro Circuit team is dealing with a sticky situation right now. They only have Garrett Marchbanks representing the team in the 250SX West division, and they have Cameron McAdoo, Ty Masterpool, Seth Hammaker and now Levi Kitchen racing East.
