MXA VIDEO: 2025 YAMAHA YZ250FX CROSS-COUNTRY FIRST RIDE

The 2025 Yamaha YZ250FX is all-new and we sent our long-time test rider, Josh Fout, to Indiana to experience the new model in the woods, and then race it at the Ironman GNCC (stay tuned for the full race video next week). The YZ250F is all-new because it’s upgrading to the new chassis that first came on the YZ450F in 2023 and then made its way to the YZ250F in 2024, and now to the YZ250FX for 2025. The new frame is slimmer, sleeker and lighter, while the engine remains relatively the same. In this video, Josh Fout explains the differences between the “FX” and “F” models and he shares his first impressions of testing the new bike in the woods.
