MXGP OF SWEDEN ACTION: ROMAIN FEBVRE STOPS COENEN COLD AT UDDEVALLA

Romain Febvre took a two moto sweep in Uddevalla, but Swedish hero Isak Gifting won the hearts of the partisan Swedish crowd with a late race charge that very nearly took the second moto win in front of his fans when he passed both Jeffrey Herlings and Romain Febvre, only to fall within sight of the checkers. Lucas Coenen’s hot streak in the 450 class cooled off as he went 7-12 to fall 41 points behind Romain Febvre in the 450 title chase.

In the 250 class, points leader Simon Laengenfelder went 5-1 in front of Kay De Wolf’s 3-3 and Andrea Adamo’s 1-8. Laengenfelder took his eighth career Grand Prix win to show that he intends to win the 2025 FIM 250 World Championship as he takes a 40-point lead into the final four races.
