SPY OPTIC SIGNS JEREMY “TWITCH” STENBERG
ÿFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Carlsbad, California March 1st, 2007 Spy Optic is pleased to announce that Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg has joined the team as the newest motorsports athlete. Twitch’s natural athletic talents, technical trickery and outspoken personality make his presence a welcome addition to the Spy family.
Twitch has been at the top of the Freestyle Motocross game since the sport’s inception. As an original member of the “Metal Mulisha,” Jeremy continues to follow through on his prediction that he can in fact beat anyone and everyone when it comes to freestyle motocross. He has won three X Games Gold medals, four Gravity Games Silver medals, two Red Bull X-Fighters Silver Medals, an Air and Style Silver Medal, and three LG Action Sports Silver Medals. Though 2006 started out just as Jeremy planned, taking the Gold Medal at the X Games in Aspen, he had a horrible get-off at the first Dew Action Sports stop and breaking both legs was sidelined for the rest of ’06. Jeremy is back in top form and ready to get back in the game with Spy Optic in 2007.
“I want to wear the best goggles and glasses made. Spy is the best, so I had to make this happen. I am very excited to be part of the Spy family,” Twitch comments.
Bob Ketchum, Spy’s Director of Motorsports, is amped about bringing Twitch into the fold; “Are you kidding me it’s Twitch!? I can’t think of another FMX athlete that fits our program better, I am super pumped to have him here. He is a bad dude.”
Twitch’s other sponsors include: ECKO Unltd, Thor/Parts Unlimited, Rock Star, Metal Mulisha, Pro Circuit, and Etnies.
Spy is looking forward to celebrating many victories and championships with Twitch well into the future. Look for his signature Spy Optic goggle later this summer.
