WATCH THE UNADILLA NATIONAL IN UNDER 15 MINUTES

As expected, Jett Lawrence clinched the 2025 AMA 450 National Championship with his 1-1 day at Unadilla. It was his 23rd 450 career victory and by opening up his points lead to 53 points over his brother Hunter, he clinched the 2025 AMA 450 National Championship with one race to go. Hunter went 2-2 for second overall. Eli Tomac finished third with a 3-3 score. It was Eli’s 79th podium appearance of his career.

In the 250 class Jo Shimoda notched his second 1-1 day of the season for his third win of the 2025 250 National season. It was the sixth win of his AMA National career and the sixth win ever. Deegan didn’t seem to be a in a rush to clinch his inevitable 2025 AMA 250 National Championship, but his 2-3 scored still got him on the second step on the podium. It was his ninth podium out of the ten races this season. Deegan’s fans wanted Haiden to get a 50-point lead over Shimoda so that he would clinch the title before the final round at Budds Creek next Saturday. It didn’t work out that way as Deegan’s left Unadilla with a 43-point advantage. When asked about not clinching the title with one race to go, he said, “It’s hard to push the edge when you have a championship to win. I think that’s how I got to where I am, being patient. I never felt comfortable today, but credit to Jo , he was ripping. We’ll go take care of business next weekend.”
