WEIRD STUFF! YAMAHA DEUS EX MACHINA:
YOU HEAR ALL ABOUT MAN AND MACHINE BECOMING ONE, BUT THIS MOTORCYCLE TAKES THE CAKE

Jake Loniak, a student at Art Center Pasadena, came up with a weird motorcycle. Called Deus Ex Machina (God Out of a Machine) the three-wheel bike is a blend between a motorcycle and an exoskeleton.

Featuring seven artificial vertebrae, thirty-six pneumatic muscles and a head of its own, the Yamaha-branded concept looks like something out a nightmare. The Deus, powered by Doped NanoPhosphate batteries and ultra-capacitors, has an in-wheel motor that could supply ample torque to deliver a driving acceleration of 60 mph in 3 seconds. Recharge time is 15 minutes with a cycle time of 60 minutes. Top speed is 75 mph.

As the speed increases, the two front wheels move outward allowing the rider to lean forward.
