Hunter Lawrence is coming off a recent championship, but will competitors of Haiden Deegan or Justin Cooper be able to get to him in playoffs? Exciting racing to come within the next few weeks, and it starts today. Anything can happen with two motos for riders to get the job done.

250 OVERALL RESULTS

The second moto started with the Kawasaki riders of Hammaker, Difrancesco, and Shimoda; all started up front. Still, Tom Vialle could grab the lead quickly and start putting down fast laps. Haiden Deegan began to further back in the second moto, having to race more maturely not to turn the bad start into a poor result. As for Hunter Lawrence, he started on the ground. Going down in the first turn would ultimately set Hunter back, and he would have to damage control.

Shimoda would spend about four laps behind Tom Vialle, searching for different, smooth lines. Shimoda then worked on the leader and started his attack; Vialle would hold off this battle for two or three more laps, but ultimately, Jo Shimoda could find a line around him and into the lead. Tom had no time to breathe as Ryder Difrancesco and Jordan Smith were right there knocking after moving back into second.

In the end, Jo Shimoda would hold on to the win and the overall with a 4-1 result. Tom Vialle would hold off the charge from Ryder Difrancesco and take second.

250 MOTO ONE RACE RESULTS

Levi Kitchen got out front early, followed by his teammate Haiden Deegan. Hunter Lawrence unfortunately went down when he pushed the front end, coming into one of the split section corners. Hunter would remount and start fighting his way back through the pack. Seth Hammaker would also make a mistake in this same corner, resulting in Seth crashing as well.

The Kawasaki battle for the top five was intense. Shimoda, Hammaker, and Forkner were fighting for the fifth position. Jo Shimoda would ultimately be in the top five and keep moving forward. Back up at the front was where all the racing was. Deegan and Kitchen battled back and forth hard until five minutes left in the moto, where Deegan could make the pass and take over the lead. Deegan would go on to create a gap between him and the rest of the field and win the first Moto of Supermotocross.
