450 RACE RESULTS // 2024 LAS VEGAS SMX PLAYOFF #3
This is it, a winner-take-all finale from Las Vegas. Jett Lawrence was quite a bit faster than the entire field in qualifying which sets himself up with the confidence to go out and win for the second year in a row. Hunter Lawrence is not going to give it up without a fight as he too was one of the fastest riders in qualifying. Chase Sexton was sixth fastest but racing is a lot different than one lap speed as it’s twenty minutes of racing. For all updated results read down below.

Jett Lawrence is once again the SMX Champion.
Jett Lawrence grabbed the holeshot in moto two which is exactly where he wanted to be, Hunter Lawrence started in second and was pushing hard to try to make a move on his brother. Eli Tomac was in third and also wasn’t letting up on the leaders. The top five stayed the same through the halfway point of the race, but Hunter Lawrence started to catch his brother as the laps winded down. It would turn out to not be enough as Hunter would finish second in the race and second overall giving the championship to Jett Lawrence.

Cooper Webb was able to push to a good result to finish out the season.
Aaron Plessinger had a solid end to the season finishing in fourth in moto two.
450 RACE RESULTS MOTO 1
Jett Lawrence has regained the points lead.
Eli Tomac grabbed the holeshot followed by Jett Lawrence and Jason Anderson. Hunter Lawrence quickly made the move into third and started chasing the leaders. Chase Sexton had a catastrophic first lap and was landed on by Justin Barcia, injuring Sexton in the process. He would pull off the track and DNF the moto. Eli Tomac and Jett Lawrence would go head to head the first couple laps both riders flying around the course pulling away from Hunter in third. Jason Anderson was holding strong in fourth after coming back from injury earlier in the SMX finals. With two minutes left in the race, Jett sent the pass in hard on Eli Tomac and made the move stick. Jett would go on to pull away and take the win.

Eli Tomac battled hard but just came up short of Jett Lawrence.
Chase Sexton watched his championship hopes drift away as his bike was damaged in the collision with Justin Barcia.
