ASK THE MXPERTS: IS THAT THE NEW MXA LOGO?
Dear MXperts,
I noticed that on the MXA website there is a different MXA logo at the top of the pages. Tell me that MXA is not changing their logo. It is one of the most iconic logos in the sport and is instantly recognizable. The new logo is just a type face with some design features. Tell me it is so!
MXA has no intention of ever changing its original logo, but if you have been paying attention over the years, you may have seen the special logos that we use on holidays or for important Supercross races that we run at the top of the internet pages. Additionally, we have run Japanese MXA logos on our helmets and bikes for the last 20 years, along with our MXA Air Force logo which was a salute to WWII’s 8th Air Force. And if you’re of the right age, you might have recognized our Metallic MXA front fender sticker. We enjoy playing around with the graphics on the website. But the original 1973 Motocross Action logo is sacrosanct.
Below is a sample of some of those logos.
ANAHEIM 2.
PHOENIX SUPERCROSS.
“MXA” IN JAPANESE LOGO.
MXA AIR FORCE LOGO.
SAN DIEGO MILITARY APPRECIATION SUPERCROSS LOGO
CURRENT MXA WEBSITE LOGO.
MXA METALLIC LOGO.
2020 SUPERCROSS CANCELED LOGO.
MXA’S YOU TUBE PAGE
So, have no fear, we have no intention of changing the traditional Motocross Action logo that millions of motocross racers have grown to recognize since 1973. In fact, here is the cover of the December 2022 issue of MXA to prove the point.
