GASGAS has unveiled their new MC 250F and MC 450F Factory Editions, featuring innovative updates such as a new Connectivity Unit and GPS, alongside multiple technical enhancements that boost performance and rideability. Set to arrive in GASGAS dealerships from January 2024, these bikes, as always, come loaded with a range of top-notch new parts from front to back, each contributing to their exceptional functionality and appeal.

Wrapping further around the bodywork edges thanks to a new, in-mold application process creates a bolder, brighter look. The bikes are topped off with a matching full gripper seat cover, that features additional ribs, to keep you planted firmly in place as you get on the gas!

The Factory Editions from GASGAS boast a smaller fuel tank, an exclusive feature that not only saves weight due to its reduced capacity and size but also enhances air circulation through the radiators for better cooling. Additionally, these models feature a redesigned front fender that seamlessly integrates with the front number plate and includes a new GPS sensor, essential for the optimal functioning of the RIDER feature on the GASGAS+ App. Moreover, there’s a new frame protection kit made from two materials, designed to provide improved grip.

The WP XACT split air front fork on the GASGAS Factory Editions now comes with new settings, specifically tuned to complement the updated frame and rear linkage. The rear linkage itself has been upgraded with new, lower-friction seals and a fresh linkage bolt. Additionally, these editions are equipped with new Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 tires, which feature revised compounds and tread patterns, ensuring superior grip across various surfaces.

For 2024, GASGAS is excited to offer riders the ability to tune their engines for the first time, simply by using the new GASGAS+ app. Riders can connect their devices to the Connectivity Unit Offroad installed on every Factory Edition bike, allowing quick access to all the app’s features with just a few taps.

The GASGAS+ app is divided into three main sections: Engine, Suspension, and Rider. The Engine feature lets you tailor power delivery to your riding style or track conditions. The Suspension feature provides recommended settings for different circuit types, and you can save multiple setups for both the engine and suspension for future use. The Rider feature tracks lap times and provides a detailed analysis of your bike’s performance. In more detail, the Engine section of the app offers predefined maps for different track types and conditions, or an Advanced mode for creating custom maps. This feature allows full control over engine braking, throttle response, traction control, launch control, and quick-shifter sensitivity. Favorite mappings can be saved and selected as needed for each track. The Rider feature, powered by LITPro and using data from the CUO and GPS, enables detailed session or race analysis, with insights into lap and section times, airtime, cornering, and more. Engine data can be visualized with up to 15 selectable values. This feature is available as an annual subscription with a four-week trial period, with pricing starting at €69,99 in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, varying by country. Lastly, the Suspension feature includes a Sag Assistant, which helps riders find the correct sag for each bike by providing measurements with the bike on the stand and with the rider, allowing for an accurate setup.

As you can see, the Factory Edition models from GASGAS are packed with a multitude of awesome new components and cutting-edge technology. The features extend beyond just performance enhancements, with each bike incorporating a range of high-quality parts. The build of each bike includes Factory Racing wheels and CNC-machined triple clamps with two offset options, enhancing both the look and the functionality. The Akrapovic “Slip-On Line” titanium exhaust system adds to the premium feel, alongside the Billet Hinson/GASGAS Factory Racing clutch cover. For starting efficiency, there’s the WP Factory Start Device, and for adaptable riding, a Map Select Switch offers two different modes: mellow and aggressive.

In terms of safety and durability, each model comes equipped with a semi-floating front disc, a Factory Front Brake Disc Guard, and a Factory Skid Plate. The aesthetic appeal is further heightened by the Black Neken handlebars with a GASGAS bar pad, grey, soft ODI grips, a golden chain, and a black rear sprocket. For a distinctive look, each 450 model includes number 51 decals. It’s also important to note the availability of these models: the MC 250F Factory Edition will be sold exclusively in North America, while the MC 450F will be available worldwide.
