KTM TO SEND MIKE ALESSI, TOMMY SEARLE AND MIKE BROWN TO USGP:

The KTM 350SXF will be raced at the USGP by Tony Cairoli and Mike Alessi.

Although KTM is dominating both the 250 and 450 World Championships with Tony Cairoli, Marvin Musquin, Max Nagl and Jeffrey Herlings, they plan to send their American race team to the USGP on May-29-30.

Brit Tommy Searle and American Mike Alessi?who both compete in AMA National competitions will represent the AMA at Glen Helen. And they will most likely be joined by Mike Brown (who races the WORCS series for Team KTM), but wants to race against his old GP buddies again.

Tommy Searle.

Tommy Searle moved to the USA at the beginning of 2009 season to race for KTM USA in the AMA 250 National Championships (after finishing a close second in the 2008 250 World Championship).

Mike Alessi.

Mike Alessi was on a hot streak in last year’s AMA 450 Nationals when he broke his knee cap. Alessi spent some time this winter testing in Europe and getting familiar with his all-new 2011 KTM 350SXF race bike.

Pit Beirer, KTM’s Offroad Director and Stefan Everts, Team Boss of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing Team also both enthusiastically endorse the announcement that the World championship series is heading for the USA.
