BRIAN MEDEIROS’ SUZUKI RM-Z250 RACE BIKE

Brian Medeiros has been an MXA test rider for a long time, and he’s been nice enough to be our resident Suzuki tester, putting time on both the RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 models for us. Recently, he switched to the DCR Yamaha team and has been helping us test blue bikes, but we didn’t want to let this race bike video that we shot last year, go to waste. In this video, Brian talks about the process of building the Suzuki RM-Z250 into a National-level race bike, and we hear from Chad Braun of XPR Motosports about the work that went into this engine.

Brian built his Suzuki RM-Z250 into a race bike for the 2024 AMA Nationals. Even though he’s switched to Yamaha now, we still enjoy looking back on this banana bike build.
