WATCH THE 2023 MOTOCROSS DES NATIONS IN UNDER 6 MINUTES

The Motocross des Nations is a confusing mess to watch in person. There are three main motos, but they are a hodge-podge of bikes racing in different classes (and the guy who wins the 250 class might be scored in 9th place when you add all the big bikes in front of him. Plus, for some strange reason, there are two classes for 450cc motocross bikes. Why? Couldn’t they add a two-stroke class to make it interesting, an Over-30 class, a vintage class, a class for left-handed 350 riders. It is a great race, but not because its structured to be understandable.  They like to say that it is the only race held with all the greatest riders in the world on the track at the same time, but if that’s true, then maybe they should also admit that the handful of great riders are mixed in with an amazing number of riders who couldn’t win a local Pro race in Kansas. But, any race where the spectators act crazy is all right with us.
