WATCH THE DENVER SUPERCROSS: LESSONS TO BE LEARNED IN WINNING & LOSING
Photos by Brian Converse
The Denver Supercross fans got their monies worth in Empower Stadium on Saturday night. With two Championships hanging in the balance, they saw all manner of human emotion, great battles at the front, one of two Supercross Championships clinched and the even got to express their opinion with cheers and boos. With the 250 West and 450 Championships hanging in the balance, the points leaders in both classes were under intense pressure, although the two titles were never in any serious danger given that there is a still one round left in Salt Lake City next Saturday, the contenders played it for keeps. For a change the teammates got their chance to shine. Justin Cooper could have passed Cooper Webb on the last lap and hurt his mathematical chances in SLC, but he played wingman all the way to the checkers, Cole Davies proved that in Supercross teammates aren’t necessarily team players, but he had a break-out season that he could be proud of. And congratulation go to Haiden Deegan for winning the 2025 AMA 250 West Supercross Championship.
