2020 AMA MOTOCROSS NATIONAL POINT STANDINGS AFTER ROUND 4
Although Zach Osborne and Jeremy Martin were dominant at the 2020 RedBud National 1, the racing was far from boring as riders like Justin Barcia, Adam Cianciarulo, Chase Sexton, Eli Tomac, Dylan Ferrandis, Ty Masterpool, Alex Martin and more each pushed 100 percent while on the track and they provided great battles for the fans watching on TV and for the limited amount of people who were at the track already for amateur day this weekend. Now, the riders will only have two days to recover before going racing again on Monday, September 7th, for the second round of the RedBud double header. 450 POINT STANDINGS (ROUND 4 OF 9)
Zach Osborne extended his lead in the 450 point standings.
Zach Osborne is usually known for his come-from-behind rides and not for his starts, however with Dunlop’s MX12 sand tire on his rear wheel, Zach Osborne was able to grab both holeshots and lead every lap in the 450 class to win both motos and extend his points lead to 26-points over Marvin Musquin and 43-points over Eli Tomac. 450 rookie Chase Sexton was the second best rider of the day and he scored second overall on his HRC Honda with 3-4 moto scores. Marvin Musquin pressured Osborne in the first moto, but he could only manage a sixth in moto two which gave him fourth overall.

250 POINT STANDINGS (ROUND 4 OF 9)
Jeremy Martin went 1-1 and earned the red plate at RedBud #1.
The 250 class was very exciting as the fastest qualifier and points leader going into the day, Dylan Ferrandis crashed in moto 1 and had to come from outside the top 20 to finish 7th. He lost a huge chunk of points to Jeremy Martin who came into the day second in the standings. Unfortunately, Dylan was banged up from his crash and he mentioned on the podium that he was dizzy from hitting his head and that his shoulder was hurting him. He started slow in the second race, but caught fire at the middle and caught all the way up to third place on the last lap and made the move on Alex Martin to get the podium moto finish and fourth overall on the day.
