250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 LAS VEGAS SMX PLAYOFF #3 (UPDATED)

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS // 2024 LAS VEGAS SMX PLAYOFF #3

We have finally made it to the last round of the SMX Playoffs in Las Vegas. Haiden Deegan still holds a large points lead over Tom Vialle by 19 points. But this round is triple the points payout giving Tom Vialle and Levi Kitchen in third a fighting chance if Haiden Deegan has a bad race. However, Deegan has won every SMX moto so far this season without much pressure from the other riders. It looks as if Deegan rides the same as previous weekends, he will have this in the bag. But in Supermotocross racing, anything can happen.

250 OVERALL QUALIFYING RESULTS

Jordon Smith rode impressively in the second session and is looking motivated to finish strong this season.

In the second session, Julien Beaumer was the first rider to put in his quick time which was not too far off Haiden Deegan’s initial time but still not enough to move Beaumer into the lead. Ryder Difrancesco was also riding very well putting himself second in that first session. Tom Vialle is also looking quick and can potentially win this afternoon, and if Deegan places fourth or worse it would give Tom the SMX overall. As the session continued there was no stopping Haiden Deegan from grabbing the fastest time and he will be the number one rider heading into tonight’s racing.

250 QUALIFYING RESULTS SEEDED SESSION 1 GROUP A

Jo Shimoda is looking strong as he finishes out the SMX series. Jo still has an opportunity to move up in the points battle and make a little bit extra money this evening.

In the opening laps of qualifying it was Jordon Smith who put in some fast times. Julean Beaumer and Jo Shimoda also didn’t waste anytime getting in condition on the track. Beaumer pushing hard made a slight mistake and washed the front end in one of the turns. The track is still in great shape from the morning groups but there definitely is that hard packed base that is so common to Las Vegas. As the halfway point of the session came around it was Ty Masterpool who was able to improve his time and make his way into the lead. As the session winded down to the end it was once again Haiden Deegan grabbing the fastest time.
