ARE YOU READY? VIDEO RECAP OF THE MOTOCROSS ACTION 2019 450 SHOOTOUT

This is a recap of the 2019 MXA 450 Shootout. If you’ve seen it before, move on. If you missed it, this is you’re chance to watch it in it’s entirety. For background info, the MXA wrecking crew began gathering up the 2019 450cc motocross bikes back in May of 2018. We spent the first couple days doing studio photos, weighing each bike and running them on the dyno before we started to test them on the racetrack. Once all of the action photo shoots were done, we raced the six bikes in the 2019 MXA 450 Four-Stroke Shootout week in and week out for months. We swapped test riders between bikes and often had test riders race two test bikes in different motos on the same day—while switching bikes back and forth. We used 7 different test riders of all skill levels and brought in guest test riders (if they had special knowledge of the aspects were were testing that day).

In the process, we discovered how each bike worked in the real world environment of racing. This video explains how we ranked them as race bikes.
