At the final round in Genoa, Italy, Justin Brayton went 1-2 to beat Josh Grant (6-1) at the Supercross that originally promised James Stewart (who claimed illness) and Jeremy McGrath (who missed his flight and went to Day In The Dirt instead).

Brayton swapped moto wins with Grant, while Aranda, Fabien Izoird, Manuel Rivas and Cyrille Coulon finished ahead of Grant. That sixth place from Grant cost him any chance of really challenging Brayton.
