CAN-AM CELEBRATES ITS 5OTH ANNIVERSARY WITH A RETROSPECTIVE VIDEO

Can-Am proudly commemorates the 50th anniversary of its renowned Can-Am brand. What began as a championship-winning motocross motorcycle in the early 1970s, dominating motocross and endurance racing, has evolved over five decades into Can-Am becoming a global leader in powersports, offering a diverse range of products.

Gary Jones led a Can-Am sweep of the 1975 AMA 250 National Championship with teammates Marty Tripes and Jimmy Ellis.

Can-Am’s AMA Championship winning racers were 1975 AMA 250 National Champion Gary Jones and 1975 Supercross Champion Jimmy Ellis. Can-Am was even more successful in off-road racing with John Martin, the father of modern day motocrossers Alex and Jeremy Martin.

Can-Am dropped out of the off-road motorcycle business many years ago, but plans to build on its motorcycle legacy by introducing two new electric dual sport motorcycles in 2024.
