FIRST LOOK! 2015 TM TWO-STROKE & FOUR-STROKE MOTOCROSS BIKES
The Italian boutique brand has released photos of their 2015 models. Wwill they come to the USA, after skipping the 2014 season? Yes. No. Maybe. The TM 85MX gets a new Keihin 28mm carburetor with a revised intake manifold for a wider spread of more instantaneous power delivery. There are new graphics, revised suspension settings and big and small wheel variants.
The TM 125MX &144MX gets new power valve cables, a revised exhaust valve ECU , new connecting rod, updated port timing and exhaust system. The frame geometry has been changed with an 8mm longer rear shock, 2.5mm rear axle and a gas tank that channels fresh air into the airbox.
The 2015 TM 250MX & 300MX have new cylinders and heads, plus an electronic exhaust valve system. There is a transmission position sensor connected to the electronic exhaust valve to help select opening based on gear and rpm. A new exhaust system to complement the new cylinder and head. All full-size TMs are available in both motoctoss and enduo version (enduro model shown).
The TM 250FI MX four-stroke features new inlet ducting system, EFI throttle body, oil filter arrangement, exhaust system and revised ECU settings. The chassis geometry has a steeper head angle, longer swingarm and different rising rate and less triple clamp offset.
The TM 450FI MX four-stroke features all the same mods as the 250 four-stroke: new inlet ducting system, EFI throttle body, oil filter arrangement, exhaust system and revised ECU settings. The chassis geometry has a steeper head angle, longer swingarm and different rising rate and less triple clamp offset.
