JEFFREY HERLINGS FINALLY WINS AGAIN, BUT IS STILL 10TH IN 450 POINTS

Jeffrey Herlings finally won a round of the 2025 450 World Championship when he went 2-1 in Germany to edge out 450 rookie Lucas Coenen’s 1-2. It has been a year since Herlings won a Grand Prix, and even with this victory, he is only 10th in 450 MXGP points at the halfway point in the 2025 series (after coming into the series late while recovering from ACL surgery). It was Jeffrey Herlings 108th Grand Prix victory. Romain Febvre was third in Germany with a 4-3 and maintains the 450 points lead by 36 points over Lucas Coenen. As for Jeffrey Herlings, he is 268 points out of the lead after 10 of 20 rounds.

In the 250 GP class, Andrea Adamo has been on a hot-streak since the Portuguese round, winning 5 of 8 motos, only being beat by Simon Laegenfelder in two motos and Kay de Wolf in one. Adamo was the 2023 FIM 250 World Champion and now has the points lead in this year’s series. However, Andrea is only 3 points ahead of KTM teammate Simon Laegenfelder, who finished 5th in Germany behind Adamo, Guillem Farres, Kay DeWolf and Valerio Lata.

Next Sunday, June 8, the MXGP series goes to Latvia.
