MATT GOERKE SWEEPS BOTH NIGHTS IN STUTTGART, GERMANY

Matt Goerke won both nights at the Stuttgart Supercross in Germany. The surprise was that Cedric Soubeyras, on a KTM 250 two-stroke, finished second overall for the two night event. Soubeyras holeshot the majority of the motos, but Goerke led virtually every lap.

A host of American riders were in Germany and they packed the top five places with Chad Johnson and Teddy Maier having the best overall placings in third and fourth. The German series is eight races long (although each event counts as two races).
