Rider: Broc Hepler
Broc Hepler stood out in amateur racing before making a transition to the professional ranks. He competed in the Loretta Lynn’s amateur national eight times, winning four times in various classes. After winning the Open A class in his final year at the ranch, he began his professional career with the Factory Suzuki team at the Millville National. In 2004, he became the motocross series runner-up, followed by a third-place finish in the Supercross series the next year. In 2008, Broc shifted to the 250 class (now the modern-day 450 class) for motocross but later moved down to the MX Lites class for Supercross while riding for the Factory Yamaha team. Unfortunately, in 2009, he had a crash resulting in a serious concussion, leading him to step away from racing. However, Broc’s passion for racing persists, and today, he can be seen participating in GNCC and woods racing on the East Coast.
ROCZEN AND ANSTIE BECAME THE WSX AND SX2 CHAMPIONS AT THE AUSTRALIAN GP
Ken Roczen (1) entered the World Supercross Finale trailing Joey Savatgy (17) in points. However, he was aware that each main event contributed points towards the Championship. Roczen outperformed the other riders in Australia, ultimately securing the championship title.
Vince Friese was in contention to win the championship and certainly tried everything possible to make that happen, including taking out points leader Joey Savatgy in the process. Vince is known for not making many friends on the track, but in his performances in the WSX, he was very fast and did everything possible to get his FirePower Honda up front.
Max Anstie and Shane McElrath were locked in a tight battle for the points lead. McElrath had a tough break when a tough block got stuck in his wheel, causing a DNF and securing the win for Anstie in the first SX2 final. Anstie took early control of the pack, while McElrath’s night went south due to the wheel issue, upsetting his title chances. Clout took second place, and Carson Mumford of Motoconcept rounded out the podium.

IS IT FORK OR FORKS?
The word “fork” is a noun and is defined as an implement or tool that bifurcates into two branches. A fork for eating is a single implement that has two or more prongs. A fork in the road is where a single lane splits into two separate lanes. The correct word to use to describe the front suspension on a motorcycle is fork because it is one device that has two separate elements held by the triple clamps. Colloquially, motocross racers call them “forks,” because they see two of them. Check out more here!
