RUMORS, GOSSIP & UNFOUNDED TRUTHS: WHEN IT WAS GOOD IT WAS GREAT, BUT IT WAS OFTEN BORING

AARON PLESSINGER SIGNS HIS 2025 KTM CONTRACT WHILE ON THE SIDELINES

Aaron is a crowd-favorite and a real showman that resonates with Supercross and motocross fans.
KTM  has re-signed Aaron Plessinger for the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) season, which will include the 2024-2025 AMA Supercross series and 2024-2025 AMA National Motocross Championships ahead of the 2024-2025 Supermotocross playoffs.
Aaron Plessinger will be in orange for another season.
Plessinger was injured at round 13 of the 2024 AMA Supercross Championship at Foxborough. Before that Aaron had  picked up his first-ever 450 Supercross victory in San Diego and claimed two additional podium finishes at the Anaheim 2 and in Arlington. Aaron will sit out the rest of the 2024 AMA 450 Supercross series with a fractured elbow, but hopes to be on the line for the opening round of the 2024 AMA 450 National Motocross Championship at Pala Raceway on May 25
Aaron Plessinger said, “I’m really excited to be staying with Red Bull KTM through 2025. It is an awesome team and I think we’re going to do some big things together in the future – even bigger and better than what we’ve achieved so far. For this year we made some major changes in the pre-season and really haven’t changed the bike at all since, which has really, really worked out in our favor. I’ve won my first Supercross 450 main and got three three podiums in total. This is the most enjoyment I’ve had in my entire 450 career. I’m stoked to be back for 2025and I will be doing my best to perform to the level that we aim to once I am able to line up again outdoors. I’ll keep riding my heart out when I’m back from injury and am really blessed to be staying with the crew.”

It just has the outer ring of teeth with an open center to allow mud to escape through. Scar’s anti-mud peg only has 18 teeth. Both footpegs retail for $269.95 at www.scar-racing.com

The 1988 Cagiva WMX 250 was designed by Dutch motorcycle designer Jan Witteveen. Witteveen had been at Gilera, Sachs and Siminini before moving to Cagiva. It was raced by Pekka Vehkonnen and Gert Jan Van Doorn. Vehkonnen finished second in the 1988 250 World Championship behind Jon van den Berk and ahead of Rodney Smith. However, Cagiva had purchased the Husqvarna brand from its Swedish Electrolux owners during this time frame and moved the Swedish brand to Italy, where they eventually rebadged the Cagivas as Husqvarnas.
