SUZUKI SHOOTOUT! STOCK RM-Z250 VERSUS BARX FULL-RACE RM-Z250

MXA had a unique opportunity when we tested Dilan Schwartz’s BarX Suzuki RMZ250 last year. After testing Dilan’s RM-Z250 for a couple hours, we broke out our box-stock Suzuki RMZ250 for a head-to-head comparison. We did lap time comparisons to get data on which bike MXA’s Josh Mosiman would be faster on. To make it fairer, we didn’t go to a big, fast, rough and gnarly outdoor track, where the stock RM-Z suspension and engine would be over-stressed (and Dilan Schwartz Twisted Development engine would be a giant advantage), but instead went to the basic and simpler State Fair track where we can shed some light on the subject of the difference between a Pro bike and a stocker.
