MITCH EVANS INTERVIEW: “I THINK THIS IS JUST A WARM-UP YEAR FOR WHAT’S TO COME”

Team Australia’s Mitch Evans went 5-28 at the 2022 Red Bud Motocross Des Nations in the MXGP class and his 28 moto score in the final race was dropped from the team’s final points. With Hunter Lawrence going 8-10 in the MX2 division and Jett Lawrence going 1-2 in the Open division, the Aussie team was able to score third place in the nation’s category, which is the main focus for this race. In this interview, Mitch talks about his Red Bud experience, he explains that he’s signed a new contract for the 2023 MXGP series and he talks about how his older brother Richie Evans and cousin Jackson Richardson helped him mature as a rider.
