THIS WEEK IN MXA: 2022 MOTOCROSS BIKE LINEUP, WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

THIS WEEK IN MXA: 2022 MOTOCROSS BIKE LINEUP, HIGH POINT PREVIEW & MORE

There’s two different types of calendars in the motocross industry. We have the new bike/Pro racing calendar and the standard layman’s calendar. It’s true, were just over halfway through 2021 and it feels like the year is flying by. But, in motorcycle terms, we’re getting ready for the New Year. Some 2022 dirt bikes are already in the dealers and soon they’ll all be at the dealers and tracks. In Pro racing terms, we’re also nearing the end of 2021 when the riders will finish up the 12-round Outdoor series, take a few weeks off and then start their 2022 pre-season prep. Monster Cup, usually the first weekend in October, is considered a pre-season race, even though it’s (usually) one month after the Outdoors finishes. This year, there will be no Monster Cup and the National series is extending until September 11th due to Covid-19 complications. But, the same principle applies.

In Episode 25 of our ‘This Week in MXA‘ video series presented by O’Neal Racing, we recap what we know so far about the 2022 models, we share a 2021 High Point National preview, we talk on our recently released 2021 125 Shootout video and leak a little idea we have going on for a “Test rider on a Supermini vs. Videographer on a 450” video.
