“THIS WEEK IN MXA” WITH JOSH MOSIMAN:” HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RACE AN AMA NATIONAL
This Week in MXA, presented by O’Neal Racing follows Josh Mosiman and Josh Fout through their weekend of racing at the 2025 Washougal National, where they answer the question, how much does it cost to race a Pro National? Plus, Mike Bonacci of ClubMX Yamaha explains their team’s expenses for the weekend. How much does the sanctioning body make off the riders? Just imagine 80 riders in each class paying a $250 entry fee — then multiply that by 11 Nationals.
Plus, you can ride with Josh on press day, and see his 360 camera fly off in the whoops (the flagman fished it out of the mud and got it back to Josh), then you can ride with Josh during both muddy qualifying heats and in both 450 AMA motos. Josh says it was fun, but when he took his jersey off after the second 450 moto his upper body displayed a Rohrschach pattern of welts and bruises from being roosted.
