WATCH THE BELGIAN GP IN UNDER TEN MINUTES: “THE BULLET” FIRES BACK

In what was a duel for the “King of the Sand” title, Jeffrey Herlings and Jorge Prado dueled in both motos, but Herlings overcame getting knocked down by a lapper and losing 17 seconds to Prado, but he got up and reeled the Spanish rider in to take the first moto win. Herelinsg went 1-1, while Prado went 2-2. As for FIM 450 World Championship points leader Tim Gajser he went 5-4 and saw his 450 title points lead shrink to just 24 points over Prado and 38 points over Herlings who has been on fire in the second half of the season.

250 World Championship leader Kay de Wolf claimed his sixth 250 GP win of the season for Husqvarna and extended his points lead over in the 250 World Championship over KTM-mounted Lucas Coenen to 65 points. The Austrian brands, KTM, Husqvarna and GasGass hold seven of the top ten positions in the 250 points chase and have won all 14 250 GPs this season.
