250 RACE RESULTS | 2021 FOX RACEWAY NATIONAL MOTOCROSS

The second Fox Raceway round of the 2021 Pro Motocross National championship marks the second to last round of the series. In the 250 class, the factory Honda rider of Jett Lawrence has an 11 point lead over the Star Racing Yamaha rider of Justin Cooper. Both these riders in qualifying were battling for the top spot. Let’s see how the day shakes out.

Jett Lawrence went 1-1 on the day. 

Jett Lawrence grabbed the holeshot with Michael Mosiman and Justin Cooper in tow. Behind the top three, the rookie Josh Varize was riding very well against the factory riders of Hunter Lawrence, Austin Forkner and Jo Shimoda. By the fifth lap, Varize got pushed back to 7th.

On the 8th lap, Justin Cooper made the move on Mosiman for second place to Jett. Lawrence. With two laps to go Jo Shimoda made the pass on Mosiman for third place. However, this wouldn’t affect Mosiman’s second place overall.

Jett Lawrence goes 1-1 on the day. Behind him in the second moto it was, Justin Cooper in second, Jo Shimoda in third, Michael Mosiman in fourth and Austin Forkner rounding out the top five.

Justin Cooper went 2-5 on the day for third overall. 

The factory GasGas rider, Michael Mosiman went 2-4 for second overall. 

250 MOTO 1 RACE RESULTS

Jett Lawrence won the first 250 moto. 

Max Volhand got the holeshot but Michael Mosiman quickly made the pass for the lead. Lawrence made the pass on Volhand into second behind Mosiman who pulled out a good lead within the first few laps. RJ Hampshire soon made the pass on Volhond for third. Lawrence started to close the gap on Mosiman then, Mosiman washed the front wheel out and went down making it easy for Lawrence to get around him. Mosiman got up losing some spots put started to charge ahead to gain the ground he lost.

In one section Mosiman made the pass on Shimoda and Volhand to get into third. Mosiman then gets into second by passing RJ Hampshire with three laps to go. With three laps to go Jett was 11 seconds in front of Mosiman. Jett Lawrence went on to win by 11 seconds over Mosiman, Hamshire, Shimoda and Justin Cooper rounding out the top five.
