Before Lance Moorewood became an MXA test rider, he was a National Minicycle Champion. Lance raced XR75’s for Vulcan Cycle Works in Placentia, California. Lance is still around, but Vulcan is long gone. Lance’s dad, Ted Moorewood, owned Cycle Town and Myerscough Machines. Ted is also the man responsible for developing the popularity of massive amateur events like the Wolrd Mini GP, Ponca City and, by proxy, Loretta Lynn.
