REM GLEN HELEN: A RARE SUNDAY MOTOCROSS RACE FOR THE REM REGULARS THIS WEEKEND

REM’s hilly layout is challenging and after this week’s rain storm the dirt should be perfect.

For SoCal motocross racers there is a chance to race this Sunday at Glen Helen. REM will hold its first race of the year on January 2.

Why a Sunday race? Because next Saturday is Anaheim 1 and to accommodate racers who want to get to A1 on time, REM canceled the January 8 race and replaced it with a rare Sunday race on January 2.

Although it may seem strange to hold a race on a holiday, it isn’t such a bad idea because New Year’s Eve is on Friday, so anyone who want to get off to a racing start to 2011 can relax on Saturday and then show up at Glen Helen on Sunday.
