WATCH THE 1968 INTER-AM AT DE LAVEAGA PARK IN SANTA CRUZ

Held at what was then known as China Camp, Edison Dye’s 1968 Inter-Am series came to Santa Cruz, California, on December 23-24 with Thorleif Hansen, Joel Robert, Lars Larsson, Torsten Hallman, Roger DeCoster, Adolf Weil, Gary Bailey, Tim Hart, John DeSoto, Vlastimil Valek, Dick Mann, Christer Hammargren, Dallas Baker and Bob Grossi in the 250 and 450 International classes.

Bengt Aberg won the 250 class in front of Roger DeCoster. Vlastimil Valek, Bryan Wade, Pierre Karsmakers, Marcel Wiertz, Ron Nelson, Lars Larsson, Jim Wilson and Dick Mann filles out the top ten. The 500 class winner was Joel Robert with Christer Hammargren second, Roger DeCoster third, Vlastimil Valek fourth, Bryan Wade fifth, Dave Bickers sixth, Ron Nelson seventh, Lars Larsson eighth, Gary Bailey ninth and Russ Darnell tenth.
