HUGHES MISSES 250 GP, BROWN MISSES 125 GP VICTORY

A wrist injury suffered in practice for the 250 GP of Portugal caused Ryan Hughes to miss the event. Last week Hughes missed the first moto when he failed to get his Pamo Honda into the impound area before the 10 minute time limit.
ÿMickael Pichon went 1-1 in Portugal, defeating Pit Beirer (2-2), Mickael Maschio (4-3) and Joshua Coppins (6-5). Last weeks surprise winner, Gordon Crockard finished 12th overall. Pichon now leads the 250 world Championships after two rounds with 70 points over Pit Beirer (53) and Gordon Crockard (44).
ÿMeanwhile at the Spanish 125 GP, Mike Brown and Thomas Traversini split moto wins, but the overall went to the more consistent James Dobb (3-2). Brown was second overall, Traversini third. Americans Jeff Dement and Trampas Parker were seventh and tenth respectively. Spain was the first round of the 125 World Championships.
