MATT WALKER INJURED AT YAMAHA TEST TRACK

ÿÿ In light of recent injuries to Troy Adams and Ryan Villopoto at the Kawasaki test track in Corona, testing for the Supercross season could be more dangerous than racing the Supercross season. Yamaha of Troy’s Matt Walker was injured on Tuesday at the Yamaha test track (about a mile from the Kawasaki test track).

ÿÿÿÿ According to Yamaha’s Terry Beal, Walker was transported to Rancho Springs Medical Center in Murrieta, California, “as a precautionary measure.”

ÿÿÿÿ Walker achieved cult fame at this year’s Glen Helen National when he rode back into the fray between Ivan Tedesco and Mike Alessi to gently move Alessi off of his then Pro Circuit teammates bike. What few people know is that a few laps later Walker crashed, breaking his jaw and teeth. Walker was just back up to speed for his new Yamaha of Troy team.
